According to Catalunya Radio, Lionel Messi got in touch with Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola to talk about his situation. The former Barcelona coach told him that he would be delighted to have the Argentine in his team.
Reportedly, City has about €300m to invest in transfers, and are now weighing the costs of signing Lionel Messi.
The Barcelona captain said he will leave Barca after 19 years and many Barcelona legends support his decision including Carlos Puyol. Manchester city remain the likeliest destination for Lionel Messi to reunite with his former boss, Guardiola.
