NECO BEGINS OCT 5, NABTEB SEPT 21 SAYS FG: The federal government has said the senior secondary school certificate exams (SSCE) organized by the National Examination Council (NECO) for ss3 students will commence on October 5 and end on November 18, 2020.
The government also said the National Business and Technical examination board (NABTEB) exams will start on September 21 and end on October 15.
The ministry of state for Education said the Basic Education Certificate (BECE) for jss3 pupils also conducted by NECO, will start on the August 24 and end on September 7.

Soap factory shut down over UI student's death : The management of Expand Global industries limited has suspended production following the death of one of its workers, Gbadebo Richard, a 300 level student of the University of Ibadan, who died when he fell into a soap making machine during operation.
