Do you get scared whenever you see a big dog, or whenever a dog is coming close to you, the first thing that come into your mind when you see a dog, is to run or scream but running and screaming will only give the dog the impression, that you are afraid of it and it will take advantage of the situation and come after you.

Today I am going to tell you five things that you can do, when you see a dog that will make the dog go away from you.

One

Pack up some sand

Dogs are very afraid of sand, once a dog is after you and you pack some sand, once they see sand in your hand, they will surely go away from you because sand is the weapon that they are afraid of.

Two

If you can not find sand just get a stick to threaten the dog with it, if the dog sees that you are not afraid, he will surely go away from you.

Three

Scream at the Dog

If you cannot get any item scream at the dog, use all your voice to scream at the dog and make it look very real, the dog will bark at you but if you continue screaming in a tone that shows that you are not scared, the dog will go away.

Four

Try to find the owner of the dog

If the owner of the dog is around call the owner, and let him know that his dog is after you and he will stop the dog.

Five

Stand still without moving

If the dog is coming after you stand still and don't give him the impression, that you are going to run, that way he will know that you are not scared and walk away.
